Still in my knitting momentum, I made a big, thick snood, perfect for the Scandinavian winter … oh wait… It will be on sale on my Etsy shop scheduled to open in the coming days!
I am going to be an aunt again, and since this time I’m around and I have my material (unlike for the birth of my first niece when I was in Denmark in a student room), I knitted a small birth kit.
I’ll post an easy pattern for the little hat tomorrow 🙂
Before I left for Denmark I started “Mon plaid à moi !”, to learn new knitting points while being easily able to take a break from this project to make other ones.
Unfortunately the break extended over 2 years since I didn’t have my equipment with me at the beginning and later, after buying makeshift needles at Tiger (I miss Tiger so much guys!) I was more busy knitting me stuff for my tribal dances outfits (and make tassels, for which I admit no needles are needed for this) and mittens, and even more mittens (Danish winter!!). Since I came back from the United States – wow I travel so much (NO) – I got back into it thoroughly and finally I get somewhere, plus I really feel a big progress so I am happy! I eventually made it to half of 90 squares \o/
Notice the aesthetic of my labelling (and the photo itself :p – sorry)
I think that the technical notebook is very well done (but it’s a French book), and the explanations for the squares are very handy for the first patterns, however one must stay focused because I spotted several little mistakes (or misprints).
